  What is GreenEarth-NanoPlant?


GreenEarth-NanoPlant is a universal liquid organic fertilizer of the new generation developed on the basis of biohumus and using the nanotechnology. The application of GreenEarth-NanoPlant fertilizer allows to reproduce in the fullest possible extent the natural cycle of the cultivation of any types of plants – agricultural, wild and ornamental, as well as in different geographical regions and climatic zones. The list of advantages of the new fertilizer includes increased yields and quality of grown agricultural produce, enhanced plants resistance to unfavorable climate conditions and diseases as well as its environmental safety and the potential to restore soils deteriorated after long term agricultural cultivation.

GreenEarth-NanoPlant fertilizer constitutes a steady combined water dispersion system enriched with living useful bioflora.

The system comprises of two elements:

- a true solution of water and a highly-molecular polymer complex, constituting a steady chelatic basis, dissolved humic and fulvic acids, and a group of macro- and microelements in a chelate form;

- a colloidal solution of biohumus shredded to nanoparticles, constituting a basis for a favourable medium for the growth and preservation of useful bioflora.

 GreenEarth-NanoPlant fertilizer contains all the elements needed for plant growth and development: humic substances, macro- and microelements, amino acids, enzymes, growth hormones, natural antibiotics, and live and agronomically useful biological flora. The biohumus components of GreenEarth-NanoPlant are in the most easily available and assimilable for plants state which, together with structured water, makes this fertilizer a highly efficient agent for stimulating their development and growth. Such a high efficiency of GreenEarth-NanoPlant fertilizer is achieved due to nanotechnology used in its production and hydrodynamic methods of water treatment.

GreenEarth-NanoPlant liquid fertilizer’s properties allow with the help of the simple technology to collect high yield crops of high quality produce ensuring complete safety for health and environment and soil fertility preservation/restoration.


How and using what materials GreenEarth-NanoPlant is produced?


GreenEarth-NanoPlant fertilizer is produced in the multifunctional hydrodynamic vortex-type reactor of our own design (GMK-reactor). GMK-reactor, method of producing and production unit are protected by US patents (US 15/290,257, US 15/429,380).


The GENP fertilizer production method is based on the following principles:

  1. Change of physical properties of water. During the technological process used to produce fertilizer, the physical properties of water are changed, which allows accelerating metabolic processes in plants and optimizing nutrition;
  2. Change of chemical properties of water. The change of the chemical properties of water enhances its chemical activity and allows achieving better dissolution of organic and inorganic elements from biohumus. Moreover, along with increased chemical activity of water, biohumus is shredded to particles of 100 to 700 nanometers.
  3. Creation of a useful biological medium.  During the technological process, a favourable medium is created for the preservation and subsequent increase of  quantities of useful bacteria and microorganisms.
  4. Chelating treatment of a solution.   During the treatment of the biohumus solution, natural chelatic structures, which retain nutrition elements in the form suitable for plants, are created.
  5. Environmental safety.  No chemical reagents are used during the fertilizer production process. Only purified water and eco-friendly humus are used to produce the fertilizer.


Raw materials used in GreenEarth-NanoPlant production include organic biohumus (vermicompost) obtained from organic waste of various origin – grass, foliage, cattle manure, and vegetable, domestic, food waste etc. Technology of biohumus production reproduces  as much as possible the natural organic matter transformation processes. During this production process, the use of industrially cultivated population of earthworms (Eisenia foetida – red Californian worm, and Lumbricus rubellus – red earthworm) and bacteria enables not only to intensify biohumus production and to produce it in industrial scale, but also to increase the content of useful nutrients in the biohumus and to enhance their bioavailability for plants. Biohumus obtained by such a technology is a high-molecular organic substrate containing substances with cyclic structure and aliphatic chains. It is saturated with water-soluble nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium compounds, humus substances, macro- and microelements, amino acids, enzymes, plant hormones, natural antibiotics, living agronomically useful microflora – thus, it contains everything necessary for growth and development of plants.


The second not less important component in the GreenEarth-NanoPlant fertilizer production process is pretreated structured water, which is a kind of an information and transportation system for the delivery of nutrients to the plant and soil. Regular untreated water at 10-25oC without any chemical additives is used in the fertilizer production process. If necessary, its pre-purification is carried out. The same type of water is used for dissolution of GreenEarth-NanoPlant fertilizer concentrate before its application.


The use of nanotechnology during water and biohumus treatment allows to achieve practically complete water extraction and dissolution of organic and inorganic elements from original biohumus. During this process, insoluble biohumus matter shredded to extremely fine particles are forming clusters in structured water solution producing a stable uniform in the whole volume suspension with high concentrations of water-soluble nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, humus acids, macro- and microelements as well as insoluble, shredded to nanosize particles.


The major break-through in the production of the GENP is the use of the GMK reactor, which allows achieving the transformation of humic substances from a solid into a liquid form while producing humic and fulvic acids and their salts without the use of chemical reagents.


Due to the mentioned technology GreenEarth-NanoPlant liquid organic fertilizer represents a new generation fertilizer: it constitutes a biologically active water suspension as a uniform, structured by activated water complex of nutritious elements and microorganisms necessary for plant development.

Simple equipment and high technological effectiveness of equipment used permits to built up not only stationary plants but also mobile mini-plants, thus enabling to move fertilizer production as close as possible to the place of application, that is to a farm. Practically any farmer will be able to have his/her own mini-unit for liquid organic fertilizer production and to produce fertilizers when it is necessary and as much as needed.


GreenEarth-NanoPlant liquid organic fertilizer can be produced in two options: "Ready to use" and "Ready to use  Plus" product.


Technology of GreenEarth-NanoPlant fertilizer production permits to prepare either universal or specific fertilizers containing macro- and microelements as well as other nutritious components essential for each category of plants.


GreenEarth-NanoPlant fertilizer can be stored for lengthy periods (6 months) at temperature ranging from 5 to 35oC; it does not require any special treatment during storage, transportation and application. It is recommended to avoid direct sun light.

Liquid organic fertilizer GreenEarth-NanoPlant is universal: it may be applied to all plants without any exception: grass, bushes, trees, to everything, which grows on earth in different geographic, climatic zones.  It can be used in the field, in greenhouses, in living premises.


How does GreenEarth-NanoPlant work?


The analysis of the properties of the GENP fertiliser and the effect it has on plants allows making a conclusion that this fertilizer, while constituting an organic fertilizer in terms of its composition, has properties of other types of fertilisers (i.e., mineral, organomineral, indirect, and bacterial): 

- similarly to mineral fertilizers, it contains macro- and microelements (the content is less than 3%, but this is sufficient for plants);

- contains humic substances and growth stimulators;

- similarly to indirect fertilizers, it contains chelatic and bacterial components.

In terms of its effect, the GENP fertiliser constitutes both a direct and indirect fertilizer.

The most important property of the GENP fertilizer is its high productivity at low concentrations.  Depending on the variety of the plants treated, the concentration of the GENP spray solution can vary between 0.25 and 5%.


Physical properties of GreenEarth-NanoPlant organic fertilizer allow to use the most efficient method of supplementary plant feeding – the foliar feeding. During root feeding, nutrients can bind with other soil components and miss the plant. Scientists found that foliar feeding delivers fertilizer elements about 5 to 20 (and for some plants – even 100) times quicker then the root feeding and the efficiency of microelements delivered by foliar feeding is 10 times higher than by root feeding. Moreover, foliar feeding permits to deliver plant food in time – almost immediately – directly to those plant parts, which need them. It is also important that foliar feeding does not require special equipment, is less labor-intensive, so it is economically more efficient.


During the foliar feeding, agronomically useful microflora, which is contained in liquid organic fertilizer, penetrates the soil as well and additionally stimulates the plant growth thus producing the second, additional, root effect of plant feeding which is an important GreenEarth-NanoPlant advantage over other types of fertilizers.


When the fertilizer penetrates the soil, it stabilizes the natural process of soil regeneration, including the regulation of its water and physical properties. Humus concentration in soil is increased, soil structure is improved, acidity of soil solution and demineralization become optimized, soil resistance to erosion is enhanced. Moreover, nitrogen fixing and phosphorus mobilizing bacteria are activated which significantly increases the soil fertility. 


Performance characteristics of GreenEarth-NanoPlant in comparison with mineral fertilizers and growth-stimulating substances are presented in Table 2.

Usually, treatment with the GreenEarth-NanoPlant liquid organic fertilizer working solution is carried out in four steps:

  • pre-sowing treatment of seeds – semi-wet treatment of seeds (which results in increased germinating power and spouting energy);
  • first foliage treatment – treatment of shoots, when 3 to 8 first plant leaves appear (which results in increased survival rate of the shoots);
  • second foliage treatment – treatment before blossoming, in budding period;
  • third foliage treatment – treatment after fruits appear.


Because of huge diversity of plants we elaborated the instruction for use of GreenEarth-NanoPlant liquid organic fertilizer for each plant category.  When GreenEarth-NanoPlant fertilizer is used, the highest feeding efficiency is achieved with low-saturated fertilizer solution when its concentration is 1% to 5% per water volume unit.


It is preferable to perform foliar feeding in the afternoon avoiding exposure to sunlight, high temperatures, rain and strong wind. During this period of time, plants are at peak of fading and have minimal turgor pressure in plant cells which allows them to absorb maximum volume of feeding solution. Air temperature should be not lower than 8oC because at low temperatures the photosynthesis activity reduces.


Environmental safety


GreenEarth-NanoPlant liquid organic fertilizer is environmentally safe to humans, flora and fauna; it belongs to the hazard Class 4, which means that there are no limitations to its application and that it is absolutely safe to humans and environment.


There is no organic wastes issue arising from GreenEarth-NanoPlant fertilizer production: production wastes contain organic residues of biohumus, which can be used not only as a supplementary plant-root fertilizer but also for increasing the soil fertility.


Tests results

During tests conducted on different plant cultures, in different geographic regions and climatic zones, the rootstock and foliage mass always increased. All vegetables and gourds increased their vitamin C, B1, B2, PP content and flavor. All plants increased their resistance to drought and different diseases without any plant protection agents added.


Moreover, during all GreenEarth-NanoPlant fertilizer test studies, there were no reports about its negative impact on treated plants.

Therefore, in terms of its properties and a method of application, the GENP is a low-concentration organic fertilizer containing an activated complex of nutrients in a chelatic form. 

It is safe to say that neither of the existing types of organic or non-organic fertilizers includes all the above-said properties of the liquid organic GENP fertilizer.  The GENP fertilizer has no comparable counterparts as it represents a new generation of universal complex liquid organic fertilizers.
